Sneak peak!

Jennifer Carillo with Bella Rosa Photography came over today and did some pictures of the girls today and here are a few that she sent me as a sneak peak! More to come!

Isabella is here!!

I was scheduled for my c section on March 8th but Isabella had other plans! On Thursday 2/24 i started not feeling so good in the evening and around 3am started having contractions. I called my dr. around 9 and she told me to go right to the hospital. I got there around 11 and they put me on an IV to hydrate me thinking the contractions were from being sick and dehydrated. After 2 bags of IV fluids my contractions were 2 min. apart so they decided to do surgery at 3:30.

I had a bad reaction to the epidural and my blood pressure dropped and I was unresponsive so they had to call code blue (luckily i don't remember any of this). Finally when i was responding they lost the baby on the monitors and had to get her out as fast as possible. The cord was around her neck twice and around her body once and because of me not breathing she lost all oxygen supply and came out not breathing. They intibated her right away and she finally took a breath on her own after 8 minutes. Poor Kris was traumatized from the whole thing!

Isabella ended up having to be in the NICU for 4 days due to the trauma she had gone through but she's now home and healthy as can be!

Halloween festivities

October was a fun month. We went to the pumpkin patch a few times and Emma loved it (as long as she had on tennis shoes so her toes didn't touch the dirt) On Halloween Jessie had a little party for the kids and we went trick or treating in her neighborhood. Emma scored on the candy and didn't want the night to end!

Carnival!

We went to a carnival with some friends at St. Bernadine's church and Emma loved it! She went on a bunch of rides and daddy won her a few prizes.

GIRL!!! We're so excited for Emma to have a little sister!!

Rainy day!

After record breaking heat last week, this week has been cold and rainy! Emma loves sitting at the window watching the rain!

She escaped!

So Kris was on Emma duty all by him self for a couple days while I worked and Emma managed to finally escape her crib! She's been trying for a few weeks but we were hoping she would stay put for a few more weeks since we just ordered all of her new big girl furniture!! My dad and Kris converted her crib into a toddler bed and she LOVES it!! So far she hasn't got out once! Even when she wakes up, she just sits there and plays and eventually calls us in to get her up!

Mickey's magic show

We took Emma to a Mickey Mouse Magic show and she loved it! It was really cute! A whole magic show with ALL disney characters! Her favorite was snow white!

4 months!

I feel like time is flying by but going by so slow at the same time (does that even make sense?) Here I am 4 months along!!

Baby girl #2??

I had my usual check up and got a surprise ultrasound! I told my dr that at my last apt we tried to take a peek at the gender and she wanted to try and look again. So we got a perfect "potty shot" and we're pretty sure baby #2 is another girl! It'snot set in stone yet and we'll know for sure in a couple weeks, but my dr said she would put it at about 90% that it's a girl!

Little bean is getting bigger!

We had our 1st trimester screening today and the baby looks perfect! He or she is VERY active! We tried to get a gender shot but had no luck this time!

Baby makes 4!!

We are so excited that Emma is going to be a big sister!! We had our first ultrasound today and baby #2 is due the begining of March!!

i can't believe our baby is 2 already! It's gone by SO fast! We had a little party on Saturday to celebrate her big day and on Sunday we went to Chuck e Cheese!
